There are two
differents kinds of beachs in ours municipalities.
The beachs of the south coast, watered by warm and calm waters, most
of them litle
inlet beachs, where you can see some typical pubs and enjoy yourself
walking around the beach.
the beachs near guincho are more rude and windy, that's why they are
wanted to do
surf and wind surf . These beachs are in the west coast.
Most of them have a blue flag, that means they have a good water and
service. |

CAXIAS - Litle inlet beach near the FORTE OF S. BRUNO, hasn't
any kind of service
PAÇO D'ARCOS - It's a calm and litle beach near the
CLUBE NÁUTICO.Have a pub and sporting equipment.
SANTO AMARO - It's the bigest beach of oeiras municipality
and has night lighting.
TORRE - Litle beach near the FORTE OF S.JULIÃO DA BARRA
and the
Oceanica swimming-pool of OEIRAS. It has parking and some good services.
CARCAVELOS - It´s the first beach outside Tagus estuary,
starts in the
Fort of S. Julião da Barra and it´s the bigest beach
of estoril coast.
Has a lot of restaurants and pubs and also schools of surf.
PAREDE
PAREDE
- The peculiar climate of Parede makes from her beach a very good
place to
recover of bone's disease and also because these beach is very rich
in iodine.
Near the
beach there is a Hospital specialist in bone's disease.
S. PEDRO DO ESTORIL - Situated in a cliff, has good services
and parking.
AZARUZJINHA - Also situated in a cliff, it's a very litle and
nice beach.
S. JOÃO DO ESTORIL - Named POÇA, has lots of
restaurants and pubs.
CASCAIS
- Very small beachs. The most famous one called RAINHA. The beach
named
PESCADORES is the final one of estoril coast.
GUINCHO
The
beach of GUINCHO is rude and windy and has big waves that is why is
very wanted to
do surf.
It's here were sports competition of surf takes place. Has lots of
nice restaurants whose
their speciality is fish and shellfish and also good hotels. Has parking.
ABANO
- Litle inlet beach, between GUINCHO and CABO DA ROCA, less windy
than Guincho, has one restaurant.
